According to Dr. Craig Farnsworth, “consistent tempo is the only way to consistent ball striking, whether it is a putt or a drive.” Improve your tempo with the lightweight, convenient metronome that we reinvented for golf. The EyeLine Golf Metronome PRO has adjustable volume so you can work on your game without disturbing other players. Your selected tempo is shown on the digital screen. Find your most comfortable tempo, and return to it day after day.
Tour players use the Golf Metronome Pro for:
Putting tempo
Find your perfect 1-2 rhythm, and repeat it every day… regardless of pressure.
Putting routine
If you are fighting the yips, experts recommend using a routine that has at least 4 beats.
The Metronome Pro lets you adjust the beat pattern to your perfect cadence.
Full swing tempo
The Metronome Pro has an adjustable beat pattern to perfectly fit your swing tempo.
Set the pattern to 2, 3, 4, or 5 beats back before you hear the “go” beep for your downswing.
Chip shot tempo
Set the beat pattern and tempo for solid chips… every time.
Pre-shot setup cadence
Tour players know when the pressure rises, the speed of their pre-shot routine gets faster.
By using the Metronome Pro they train themselves to walk into every shot at the
same speed – and expect great results.
Turn on the Metronome by holding down the on/off button for 3 seconds.
When the “clock” or the “pitch” mode appears, push the on/off button to go to “tempo” mode.
Adjust the volume of the “beep” to your satisfaction.

How to select the correct tempo:
Tempo is the most personal aspect of golf. You have a natural speed of speaking and walking. You also have a natural speed of stroke and swing.
We recommend hitting putts until you feel comfortable, then setting the metronome to the speed of your stroke.
Make a note of your speed. When you return to practice another day, set the Metronome PRO on the recorded speed.
Some days your recorded tempo will seem fast, and some days slow.
Sticking to your established tempo will produce consistent results.
Beat 1 Beat 2 Beat 3 Beat 4
The 4 Beat Process – The Ultimate Tempo Process:
The 4 beat process is used by some of the finest players in the world. It gives the player a consistent routine regardless of pressure.
The stroke or swing is divided into 4 beats
Beat 1: Turn your head to the target
Beat 2: Return your eyes to the ball
Beat 3: Initiate the back swing so the end of the swing
is on the 3rd beat
Beat 4: Make impact
Adjust the Metronome for your putting tempo:
1. Set the beat to 0/4
2. Set the tempo to 80
3. Make strokes to the tempo of the Metronome
4. If the beat is too fast, reduce the tempo
If it is too slow, increase the tempo
